Every Tail Has a Tale
Our Story
The Perritale began on a winter morning, with two wagging tails.
Those tails belong to Coco and Cola. Coco is a white Italian Greyhound, all grace and slender lines; Cola is a black Miniature Pinscher, small, sturdy, and full of spark. Their names come from the colors of their coats — Coco, white as coconut; Cola, dark as the drink itself — and the names rhyme, because the two of them have always rhymed: side by side, since the day they came home as puppies.
Being short-haired, they feel the cold more than most dogs, and their skin is delicate. So every autumn and winter, they grew up in little coats and soft sweaters. What I never expected was how much they loved it — the way they stood a little taller, walked a little prouder, as if they knew they looked beautiful.
But this story was never really about clothes.
It is about family. I have two sons — sensitive boys, carrying more pressure from school than young shoulders should. Coco and Cola came home for them. And slowly, something softened in our house: more laughter, more open hearts. The dogs reached my boys in a way words never could. Coco and Cola are not pets. They are my children too.
And that is the tender bargain of loving a dog: their time with us is short — a dozen years together, if we are lucky. So I made a quiet promise. I would fill every one of those days with the very best I could give.
The Perritale is that promise, made real. The name was born from a wagging tail — because every tail has a tale, and this one is ours. My favorite moment of every day is still the simplest one: Coco and Cola running toward me, tails in full motion, as if to say, "Mama, love me a little more."
What makes us different is simple. I am not a company that studies dogs — I am a mother who lives with them, five years and counting. Every piece in our collection is chosen the way I choose for Coco and Cola: gentle on sensitive skin, warm when the days turn cold, and beautiful enough for the little souls who make a house a home.
They give us everything. The least we can do is give them our best.
Their tale is still being written — one wag at a time.
